Conquer Stress: 6 Ways To Support
Your Adrenals

Chronic stress can cause extreme adrenal fatigue. Here are 6 ways to support your adrenals & eliminate the stressors that are causing symptoms!

1. StressRX®

StressRX® are dietary capsules that contain adaptogenic herbs. These herbs are known to help increase energy and endurance, and strengthen the immune system!

2. Deep Breathing

Breathing can be a very powerful tool for reducing stress, and is often overlooked! Think about how you breathe when you are relaxed, or when you wake up rested. You’ll notice that your body is calm.

When we’re stressed, we experience the opposite effect.

Our heart rate increases and causes us to breathe more rapidly. To combat this, you can try some simple breathing exercises to help you feel less anxious and reduce tension.

3. Hydration

Considering that our brains are made up of about 85% water, it’s understandable why we need to stay hydrated. When you don’t drink enough water, you might experience headaches and fatigue. And these symptoms can lead to stress.

To keep the chemicals in your brain balanced, be sure to stay hydrated!

To calculate how much water you should drink daily, divide your weight (in pounds) by 2. That number is how much you should drink in ounces.

4. Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic adjustments help move the bones back to their natural positions. Proper alignment will help to alleviate and even eliminate the symptoms of stress, which are usually caused by the tension/contraction of muscles (that often you don’t realize you’re doing!) when you’re under chronic stress.

Most people experience an immediate reduction in emotional stress and other physical pains, following an adjustment.

5. Magnesium

Magnesium is a mineral that helps to restrict the release of stress hormones called Cortisol. When we are under stress, our bodies release an excess of cortisol and the physical effects begin to consume our magnesium.

Magnesium is also known to help decrease inflammation. An increase in inflammation can lead to a handful of neurological and psychological disorders such as anxiety and even depression.

6. Protein

When you’re feeling more stressed, it’s important to prioritize protein. Our bodies will demand more protein so eating plenty of lean meats, lentils, nuts will help to supplement the extra need.

 We also recommend protein powder.

Protein powder is an easy way to add extra protein to your daily diet. One of our favorites is Vega protein, which we sell in our offices!
